Mould Growth / Dampness |
|
Dampness due to condensation is a major cause of mould growth and can create a dangerous living/working environment.
Condensed water, ( distilled ), is a haven for mould spores and will support widespread growth. The inimical effects of the ground
salt content in rising damp inhibits mould growth.
Mould should be treated with a dilute solution of household bleach and the contaminated areas should be treated with
an anti-mould treatment to minimise re-occurrence prior to redecorating.
